Jane Baker, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend,
passed away peacefully in her Cedar Hills, Utah residence
on Monday, February 9, 2015. Mary Jane was born in her small
country home in Tennessee on October 27, 1931 to remarkable
parents, Albert Alexander Ralph and Effie Ellen Hall. She
married William Thomas Baker on November 16, 1950 at Ft.
Mead, Maryland. She lived a full life of strength and conviction
and she loved and relied on her Heavenly Father for guidance
and support. She was a strong southern woman with incredible
family values and spirituality. She enjoyed cooking, many
late nights of conversation, and had an unbelievable wit
and sense of humor. She really enjoyed music, playing the
organ, and singing in her church choir.
Mary Jane is survived by her loving husband, her son Dan
Baker, as well as 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Lydia Darlene Andelin
and her great granddaughter Alyssa Maree Barlow. The family
would like to thank all the staff at The Charleston of Cedar
Hills, the caregivers from First Choice Home Health and
Hospice, and Connie who provided the wonderful care she
received at her home in Middletown, KY. We would also like
to thank the many friends and neighbors who have blessed
and touched her life. Mary Jane will be forever missed by
everyone who had the privilege of meeting her.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 14,
2015, at 11:30 am at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South
State Street, Provo, Utah. Family and friends may call Saturday
