Corine Gotch Balmforth, age 89, of Pleasant Grove, Utah
passed away peacefully Monday, March 31, 2014. She was born
February 7, 1925 in Shelley, Idaho to Adolph Gotch and Eva
Cora Arave. She married her sweetheart, George Raymond Balmforth,
November 20, 1942 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they
had nine children.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-Day Saints. She loved her service in the stake
and ward Relief Society organizations. She always loved

a thriving wedding business: Sweetheart Manor. Many of her
formals graced the stage in the Miss Idaho Falls and Miss
Idaho pageants. She found great joy in dressing brides and
helping them create happy memories. She loved cooking, gardening,
crochet, baseball, and the Jazz.
She is survived by her children, Sheila (David) Royall,
Kevin (Jacquie) Balmforth, Teresa (Mike) Dahle, and Margo
