Donna Bentley
1959 ~ 2016

January 28, 2016 this world lost its greatest treasure. While heaven gained a very deserving angel

On March 31, 1959 the world was made a better place by the birth of Donna to Lawrence William and Helen Arlene Nelson. Donna grew up being a loving and giving caretaker to her brothers and sisters as well as many nieces and nephews.

Donna soon became a loving mother of her first daughter in 1983. She raised this sweet child alone until she met her true love in 1986. Soon their love led to a daughter in 1988 and another in 1990. Donna instilled her kind giving spirit to her daughters as well as friends and family.

Donna’s life wasn’t without hardship but the lessons she taught us all well was to face everything with a smile.

In 2009 Donna finally married the love of her life Lyman. It was true love they didn’t agree on much and they augured at times but at the end of the day they were each other’s world. Also in 2009 Donna became the world’s best grandma to her granddaughter Lois (Tater-bug).

Donna is survived by her loving husband Lyman three daughters, Annie, Sara, and Nicole. granddaughter; Lois, sister’s in law; Jackie and Sara. brothers in law; Johnny, Richard and Kent (Shawna) Sister; Debbie (Dennis) and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents Larry and Arlene, mother in law; Fonda and Father in law; Bud also brother’s; Mike and Steven, sister; Bonnie, sister in law; Becky, great nephew; Avery.

“Remember me with smiles and laughter for that is how I will remember you all.
If you can only remember me with tears then don’t remember me at all.”

There will be a Celebration of Donna’s Life held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at 2835 South 2855 West West Valley City, Utah 84119.
