E. Carlson, age 77 passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May
5, 2014. Cliff was born to Edward and Doris Statler Carlson,
of Flagler, Colorado on May 9, 1936.
He married the love of his life, Barbara Hill Carlson in
the Salt Lake Temple. Cliff was an active member of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They lived
in Utah and Boise, Idaho.
In Boise they worked hard to start a lawn mower business
which was very successful. The majority of Cliff’s
life was spend in Utah with his wife raising their 6 children.
Cliff loved being outdoors and after selling his business,
he went into the Parks and Recreations profession where
he centered his efforts mainly in the golf course management.
He loved playing golf, pool, traveling to visit family
and selling items he bought at auctions. Cliff was friends
to everyone he met and his love and service to others was
felt by all.
Cliff and Barbara raised 6 children all of which Cliff
taught to be honest and hard workers.
He is survived by his children Cathy (Ron) Hollister, David
(Clydine) Carlson, Janet (Dave) Traylor, Gary (Bernadette)
Carlson, Lori (Lou) Iannucci, sister Leona (Phil) Weisbrod
also 18 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded
in death by his wife, Barbara Carlson, daughter, Pam George,
also 3 brothers and his parents.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at
11:00 am in the Utah Veterans Memorial Park Chapel, 17111
South 1700 West, Bluffdale, Utah. Family and friends may
call Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30 am prior to services
at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park Chapel. Service will
be under the direction of Warenski Funeral Home.
Age 95, died peacefully in American Fork, Utah, on October
15, 2017. She was a dedicated wife, mother, educator, musician, and
