John Harold Conlee
1976 ~ 2014

John Harold Conlee passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014, in Alpine, UT, at the age of 38. He was born 19 May 1976 in Creve Coeur, Missouri, to parents Robert K. and Marianne Colt Conlee. He loved sports and was an all-state baseball player for Mountain View High School. He played baseball for one year at Utah Valley State College before serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Roseville, California. While on his mission he met Sister Alanna Leigh Merrill. Following their missions and courtship the two were married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple, American Fork, Utah, on August 23, 1997. They are the parents of five children.

John was a member of the LDS Church who truly loved his Heavenly Father. He served faithfully in many callings including High Councilor and as Bishop of the Helena 2nd Ward of the Helena Montana Stake. His favorite callings were home teacher and member missionary. John graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and immediately accepted employment with Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals for whom he worked until his untimely passing. In the later years of his life he dealt with multiple health issues that eventually led to his death. Back in the presence of his Heavenly Father he can finally find the complete peace he yearned for in his earthly experience.

He is survived by his wife Alanna, and their five children Camryn, Kadyn, Abby, John Christian and Ella. He was preceded in death by his mother and is also survived by his father and five siblings, Robert (Stephanie), Steven (Gisele), Julie (Todd) Anderson, James and David (Melissa) as well as aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Deerfield LDS Ward Chapel, 676 North Eagle View Drive, Alpine.
