Frank Daley 60, passed away on April 18, 2017 in Long Beach,
CA in a tragic unexpected accident. He was born on March
21, 1957, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and raised by his parents,
Floyd and Nola Daley.
After joining the LDS church as a teenager, he served an
LDS mission in Michigan, where he shared his testimony of
Jesus Christ and loved the experience of serving others.
At the age of 30, while attending the University of Utah,
he fell in love and married Cynthia Whittacre after graduating
from the U of U with a degree in Organizational Communications.
They lived in both Alpine, Utah and Las Vegas, Nevada. They
were married for over 23 years, and had two wonderful children
together. He loved his family and was a good provider.
Those that knew him will remember him as a husband, friend,
father, or employer. He was extremely charismatic and funny
and people enjoyed being around him. He had many one liners
that people will remember forever such as “it only
costs a little bit more to go first class.” He was
hardworking, a great communicator, coach, mentor, and a
successful business owner. He had a passion for the insulation
industry and as a business owner was inspirational in furthering
the careers of many people. He always encouraged his children
to pursue their dreams, and wanted them continue to learn
and grow in their pursuit of Happiness by attaining a higher
education. He taught his children many valuable lessons
in life including the joy of being physically active. He
loved being outdoors; enjoying running, skiing, golfing,
Dee will be missed by his friends, children Lori Mason
and Spencer Daley, and mother Nola, as well as his siblings,
Dan, Kirk, and Sherman Daley.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life memorial
service in his honor on Saturday, May 20th at 10:00 am at
the Warenski Funeral Home located at 1776 North 900 East,
American Fork, Utah 84003. A luncheon will be provided after
at the LDS church located on 285 North Matterhorn Drive,
Alpine, Utah 84004.
