beloved son, brother, father, and friend Aaron Desmond,
age 39, passed away unexpectedly at home Thursday morning
June 27, 2013 in Salt Lake City, UT. Aaron was born in Salt
Lake City, UT on February 23, 1974 to loving parents, Michael
G. and Gwen I. Desmond. Aaron attended American Fork High
School where he was an avid trombone player in the marching
band. After graduation, he passionately served an LDS mission
to Tokyo, Japan. Aaron was a skilled electrician who enjoyed
working with his hands and solving problems. He had a sharp
mind and a quick wit. He was an incredibly compassionate
person. If he had only a dollar in his pocket and the shirt
on his back, he'd give you both. He loved his family and
the many hours spent together with him watching movies,
spouting philosophy, telling jokes, quoting movies lines
or doing puzzles will be sorely missed.
More than anything in this world, Aaron loved his sons.
He'd spend hours reading to them, playing games with them
and building toys with them. He taught them to rock out
to Flogging Molly, how to ride a motorcycle and how to make
cookies. A broken egg on the counter meant nothing to the
time spent with his little boys.
Aaron is survived by his sons, Ciaran Aaron and Cabhan
Jason, his parents, Michael G. and Gwen I. Desmond, his
siblings, Jason, Beckie Pomeroy (Barry), Melissa Heinzig
(Kurt), and Jacob (Kristi), and many nieces and nephews,
Grandparents Dolores Robertson, June and Gale Desmond. Aaron,
we will miss your smile, your jokes and your contagious
