Dad was born June 9, 1935 to Jacobus and Maria Duvaloois in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He worked for Smit Internationale Tugboat Company untill he was drafted in 1955 to the Royal Dutch Air Force and served until November 1956.

Shortly after, he married Dina Volbeda and immigrated to the USA in May of 1957. He retired from A Plus Benefits in August 2009 where he often said,"I don't go to work.. I'm on vacation!"
