Maureen Colbert Eastwood
1933 ~ 2012

Maureen Colbert Eastwood passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, July 30, 2012. Born in Salford, Greater Manchester, England on April 8, 1933, she married Trevor Eastwood in Harrogate, England in 1955. Together they raised their three children, Jacqueline (Johnson), Martin and Peter in Zambia and in Western Australia.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979. Maureen worked as a registered nurse in England, Zambia, and Western Australia. She worked at the Orem Community Hospital for the past 27 years.

Maureen and her husband shared a great love for community theater in Africa and Australia. Together they founded the Kwinana Theater Workshop in Australia. They directed and acted in hundreds of productions. She has acted in and directed many productions for the Hale Center Theater and the Springville Playhouse. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints, she has served in many church callings and has kept herself busy with her family history work.

Maureen is survived by her three children, 18 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren and many loved and dear friends. She has lived a full life and has touched many lives.

Memorial service will be held Friday, August 3, 2012 at 4:00 pm at the Suncrest 7th LDS Ward Chapel located at 891 West 130 North, Orem, Utah. Family and friends may call Friday afternoon from 3:00-3:45 pm prior to services at the church. Funeral Directors - Warenski Funeral Home.
