Frank M. Fountain
1941 ~ 2012

A man of integrity, Frank McEwan Fountain, 71, passed away on October 7, 2012 after a long battle with Leukemia. He was born in Salt Lake City to Frank and Kathrine Fountain. He was raised in Salt Lake City and later graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Banking and Finance. He was a proud member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He married Wilma Johnson on July 3, 1965. Together they raised three children, Alisa, Acacia, and William. He spent his career in the banking industry in California working for Security Pacific, and Bank of America where he retired as an Executive Senior Vice President.

In retirement he enjoyed restoring classic Corvettes, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, their children, Alisa (Joseph) Andersen, Acacia (Michael) Pearson, William (Mogan) Fountain, 13 grandchildren and a brother Jim. Preceded in death by his parents, mother and father in law, infant daughter Anastasia, and infant granddaughter Olivia.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 11, 2012, at 10:00 am in the Alpine 9th LDS Ward Chapel located at 901 East Village Way, Alpine, Utah. A viewing will be held Wednesday, evening October 10, 2012 from 6:00-7:30 pm at the Alpine 9th Ward Chapel. Interment will be at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Salt Lake City, Utah.
