Stacy Sneed Geppert
1968 ~ 2013

Stacy Sneed Geppert died January 19, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 10, 1968 to William Cecil Sneed and Nancy Virginia McCoy Sneed.

Though Stacy was born late in her parent’s child bearing years, she brought great joy and healing to her welcoming family. She grew up as the dearly loved sister of older siblings, the closest being thirteen years older than her. She learned love, patience, and compassion at an early age when her elderly Grandfather came to live with them until his death.

After High School Graduation she attended BYU, and then was called on a Spanish speaking mission to southern California. When her mission was successfully completed she returned to BYU where she met the love of her life, John Franklin Geppert. They were married on August 17, 1991 in the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple. To their joy, their family grew as Austin, Matthew, Victoria, Hannah, and Emma were born.

The growing family moved from Utah to Maryland in 2005, to Virginia in 2007, then back to Highland, Utah in 2011.

One of the outstanding characteristics of Stacy’s live was her ability to love and serve fully and without reservation in many callings and in other ways. She was universally loved by all.

She was preceded in death by her Father, William Cecil Sneed, and a sister, Barbara Sneed, who died before Stacy was born.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 11:00 am, in the Highland East LDS Stake Center Chapel, 4679 West 11000 North, Highland, Utah. Family and friends may call Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at the same location and also Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 am prior to services. Interment will be in the Highland City Cemetery.
