1934 ~ 2018
Jean Glover, 83, of Lehi, Utah passed away on January 10,
2018, with her son by her side. She was born April 12, 1934
in Lehi, the daughter of Arthur George Glover and Delpha
Donna loved her family and friends. She especially enjoyed
Thanksgiving holidays spent with family, and getting together
with friends for their annual lunches. She stayed in shape
by walking several miles a day, and spent hours happily
tending to her yard. Everyone who knows Donna knows how
much she loved her cats, which she rescued and then loved
for 10 years. In her earlier years, she enjoyed traveling
to many places around the country. She also worked at various
jobs throughout her life to support her family. She lovingly
took care of her mother in their home, until her mother
passed away. She experienced joy and peace in the tradition
of decorating her deceased loved ones resting place, for
various holidays, especially Memorial Day and Christmas.
Donna will be remembered for her vibrant personality –
her strength, determination, independent spirit, and wonderful
sense of humor.
She is survived by her daughter Shelley Fischer (Niels
Jensen) and son Derk Penrod (Heather), her brother Ward
Glover, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded
in death by her parents and her sister Joyce Bentley.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday,
January 16, 2018 at the Warenski Funeral Home, 1776 North
900 East, American Fork, Utah. Family and friends may call
from 10:30 to 11:30 am at the funeral home prior to services.
Interment will be at the Lehi City Cemetery.
