Pearlene Nichols Griffin
"Forever Sweethearts"

Dear ones, I want to let you know that Pearlene passed away on Sunday night. Her last wishes were of you. She held on to life long enough to allow her Mother, Children, Siblings, Grandchildren and friends to express their love and share in a living memorial with her. We celebrated with her, laughed with her and then held her hand as she slipped always from us. Her spirits were bright and her laughter was intoxicating. She wants you to remember her smile and her love for each of you. If you must cry tears for her, make them tears of joy, for she is happy. As the days go by and you think of her, she wants you to know that if you should smell peppermint, she is nearby giving her love to you. She loves life and lived it to the fullest. Celebrate with her as she begins her next great adventure. Live life to the fullest, enjoy the simple beauties of nature and be kind to one another.
Blessings to all of us, Gary

Pearlene's message to Gary through the song "In This Life" by ~ Israel Kamakawiwo'ole

For all I've been blessed with in my life
There was an emptiness in me
I was imprisoned by the power of gold
With one kind touch you've set me free

Let the world stop turning
Let the sun stop burning
Let them tell me love's not worth going through
If it all falls apart, I will know deep in my heart
The only dream that mattered had come true
In this life, I was loved by you.

For every mountain I have climbed
Every raging river crossed
You were the treasure that I longed to find
Without your love I would be lost.

Let the world stop turning
Let the sun stop burning
Let them tell me love's not worth going through
If it all falls apart, I will know deep in my heart
The only dream that mattered had come true
In this life, I was loved by you.

I know that I won't live forever
But forever I'll be loving you.

Let the world stop turning
Let the sun stop burning
Let them tell me love's not worth going through
If it all falls apart, I will know deep in my heart
The only dream that mattered had come true
In this life, I was loved by you.
