Lorna G Jenkins

Lorna Brashear Jenkins passed away from cancer on Sunday, August 24. She was born on September 16, 1952 in Kennewick, Washington and grew up in the Tri-Cities area of Washington.

Lorna was forever selfless, always giving 110% to every endeavor, relationship, and task. She will be remembered fondly for her kindness, love, and incredible Cinnamon Rolls (no really, they are incredible).

She married Craig Jenkins in February of 1973 in the Salt Lake City Temple, and have 5 beautiful children, and 11 even more beautiful grandchildren. She is a great mother and grandmother, and will be remembered fondly.

Lorna had a successful career as a Sales Rep for Printing Resource in Lindon, Utah, taking care of all of her clients - whether big or small - with the greatest attention to detail.

She loved her family and friends enjoyed hours gardening, planting flowers, tending to her bees, and just enjoying the stream in her backyard. Lorna served in many capacities in the LDS Church and her service to members will be missed.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 11:00 am at the Alpine West LDS Stake Center Chapel, 327 South Long Drive, Alpine, Utah. Family and friends may call Friday evening, August 29, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Alpine West LDS Stake Center Chapel and again on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to services at the church. Interment will be at the Alpine City Cemetery located at 350 North Grove Drive, Alpine, Utah.
