Carol Taysom Jensen
1927 ~ 2017

Carol Taysom Jensen passed over into eternity two weeks after her 90th birthday on August 4, 2017 at her current home at the Charleston in Cedar Hills, Utah.

Born on July 22, 1927 in Pocatello, Idaho, Carol married Robert D. Jensen in 1947 and raised six children while living in Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. She had a long and distinguished career as an interior designer, and served the Lord in various capacities in every LDS auxiliary, with her favorites being an early morning seminary teacher and a temple worker with her husband in the Seattle temple.

Carol is survived by her children Roby Jensen of Seattle, Washington, Melody (Sam) Woodward of Hunstville, Alabama, Holly (Dan) Ulrich of Burien, Washington, Charmi Garcia of Salem, Oregon, Lisa (John) Halpaus, of Renton, Washington, and Heather (Scott) Combs of Cedar Hills, Utah. She has ten grandchildren and seventeen great-granchildren whom she absolutely adored. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three siblings, and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 9:00 am at the Kirkland Willows LDS Ward Chapel, 7720 126th Avenue Northeast, Kirkland, Washington. Private interment will take place at the Tahoma National Cemetery.
