Robert D. Jensen
December 30, 1927 ~ January 16, 2015

At the age of 87, Robert D. Jensen (Bob) passed away in Cedar Hills, Utah. He was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho, but lived most of his life in the Seattle, Washington area. He is survived by his wife and eternal companion, Carol (Taysom), and children, Roby, Melody (Sam), Holly (Dan), Charmi, Lisa (John), and Heather (Scott). He will also be greatly missed by his 10 grandchildren and 17 great-children. He was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, Skyler Brennan Collier, in 2010.

Bob was an entrepreneur who had several successful careers, most notably as a building contractor and an insurance broker. He also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed movies and music, classic cars, woodworking, family time, and A&W root beer.

Beloved by family and friends alike, Bob was a warm and loving man who was our patriarch and example. He bravely battled Parkinson's disease during the last 25 years of his life, but is now strong and free of pain, and reunited in heaven with his own parents and siblings, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 26, 2015, at 10:30 am at the Kirkland 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 7720 126th Avenue Northeast, Kirkland, Washington. Private interment will take place at the Tahoma National Cemetery.
