Ted P. Kistler
-- 1924 ~ 2011 --

Ted P. Kistler, 87, a beloved son of God, was born to Paul J. Kistler and Eva Zola (Bennett) Kistler on February 27, 1924 in Parsons, Kansas. He returned to the arms of his Heavenly Father on August 29, 2011. Ted served as an Army medic in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He married Genevieve Catherine Fox on December 25, 1947. Together they raised three children, Richard Stanley, Theodosia Christina and Kathleen Gail. Ted received his Masters Degree in Education from Kansas State Teachers College at Pittsburgh. and taught Industrial Arts and Drafting in the Springfield, Missouri until his retirement in 1984.

Ted is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Phyllis, loving wife Genevieve and son Richard Stanley Kistler, PhD. He is survived by his two daughters, Kathleen Gail Kistler of Montgomery, IL and Theodosia C. Judson of Lehi, Utah. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Doug Judson (Arlene) Highland, Utah; Adam Judson (Candace) Highland, Utah, Robert Judson (Michelle) Pleasant Grove, Utah, Kimberly Petersen (Steve) Nampa, Idaho and Christopher Kistler, Denver, Colorado. Ted also had 9 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at Warenski Funeral Home 1776 North 900 East in American Fork, Utah on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 10:00 am. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the same location. Interment will be at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Missouri at a later date.
