May Wood Larsen
1932 ~ 2015
passed away peacefully in her home and returned home to
her Heavenly Father Thursday, April 9, 2015.
She was born March 20, 1932 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Syrenus
and Ethel Wood. She grew up in Spanish Fork and graduated
from Spanish Fork High School. She was an active member
of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she
has served many church callings. She enjoyed quilting and
made lots of quilts and receiving blankets. She kept busy
with her crafts. She loved the outdoors and camping and
spending time with family.
She married Marvin Larsen in 1951 in the Manti Temple.
Together they had 5 children: Nellie (Victor, deceased)
Johnson, Lamar (Cheryl) Larsen, Vickie Johnson, Cindy (Edward)
Walling, and Valerie (Clark) Adams. She has 22 grandchildren
and 42 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by
her husband, miscarried son, a son-in-law, and 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 17, 2015, at
11:00 am at the Cedar Hills 2rd LDS Ward Chapel, 2950 West
Cedar Hills Drive, Cedar Hills, Utah. Family and friends
may call Friday morning from 9:30-10:30 am prior to services
at the church. Interment will take place in the Lindon City
Cemetery. Special thanks to the Sunrise Home Health &
Hospice, family & friends, and the Warenski Funeral
Home. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated.
