Bill Layton
1937 ~ 2014

Billy Ray Layton of Eagle Mountain, Utah, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014, at the age of 77 surrounded by his family at the Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, Utah. Bill was born September 29, 1937 in Denver Colorado to Earl Layton and Ethel Erickson.

Bill loved playing baseball with his boys he also enjoyed coaching and watching as much as he could, this was his true passion. Bill was a faithful member of the LDS Church who truly loved his religion and served in many callings over the years.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn and 7 children and 26 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his first wife Joyce and his oldest son Willie.

Viewing services in Utah will be held Monday, October 6, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Warenski Funeral Home located at 1776 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah. Funeral services will be held in Limon, Colorado on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 11:00 am.
