Rich Pugmire Loveland, our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother,
and great-great grandmother, passed away at her home, January
11, 2017, at the age of 94. Gwen was born December 6, 1922,
in St. Charles, Idaho. She was the youngest of six children
born to Moroni Staniforth and Luetta Ann Rich Pugmire.
Gwen married her high school sweetheart, McKay M. Loveland,
in the Logan Temple, June 25, 1942. Four children blessed
their family. Gwen and McKay lived in Salt Lake City for
30 years prior to moving to Alpine, Utah.
Gwen was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints all her life, serving in many teaching and leadership
positions. She and McKay served a mission in Richmond, Virginia.
They also served as stake missionaries.
She is survived by children Kathryn Harward, Jerrilyn (Brent)
Jensen, Jeffery (Susan) Loveland, 17 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren,
three great-great grandchildren, and her sister-in-law,
Marie Pugmire. She was preceded in death by her husband,
parents, three brothers, two sisters, twin granddaughters,
and son Bradford (Falene) Loveland.
She will be missed by her family and her many friends.
A viewing will be held at Warenski Funeral Home, 1776 North
900 East, American Fork, Utah, Wednesday, January 18, from
6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Alpine
7th Ward, 890 North Heritage Hills Drive, Thursday, January
19 at 1:00 p.m. with a viewing prior from 11:30 a.m. to
