Louis Maurer (41) passed away in Lehi Utah on June 25, 2013.
Rob was born on September 20, 1971 in Fresno, California
to Daryl James Maurer and Janet Sue Reed Maurer.
Rob grew up in Wellington, Kansas and Fresno, California.
Rob moved to Utah to work as a Software Technician. It was
during this time that he met Carin Gaskill. They were married
on September 15, 2001 in South Jordan, Utah. Rob and Carin
later welcomed two beautiful children, Alexis and Mason.
Rob was a loving husband and father who cared deeply for
his family. He was passionate about his work, and was well
respected in his industry. He loved working on and riding
his Harley’s. Rob loved to travel with his family.
His favorite places to go were Wellington, Pismo Beach,and
wherever KISS was performing. He also enjoyed fishing, barbequing
with friends, and other outdoor activities.
He is survived by his loving wife Carin, their children
Alexis (10) and Mason (8), brother James Maurer, and uncle
Gene(Debra) Maurer. He was preceded in death by his parents
and step-father Kenny Medlam.
Memorial services for Rob will be held on Monday, July
1, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the Warenski Funeral Home Chapel located
at 1776 North 900 East in American Fork, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations
be given to the charity of your choice in his memory. The
family wishes to express appreciation for the love, thoughts,
and prayers on their behalf.
Age 95, died peacefully in American Fork, Utah, on October
15, 2017. She was a dedicated wife, mother, educator, musician, and
