Spencer Boyd Noorlander passed away at his home in Orem,
Utah on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the age of 36. He
was born on April 30, 1979 in Salmon, Idaho. Spencer is
survived by his mother and father, Debbie Dee Noorlander
and Daniel Olie Noorlander (Gail); his four brothers, Jamison
(Amy), Danny (Kimberly), Reed (Jocelynn), and Nate (Emily)
Noorlander; his two sisters, Jennica Smith (Aaron) and Katelynn
Chase (Austin); and his two sons, Ezra and Aden Noorlander.
He is also survived by his ex-wife, Andrea Ash, with whom
he remained close.
Spencer attended the Utah High School for the Performing
and Fine Arts from 1993 to 1996. He served an LDS mission
in Ireland and received his Bachelor of Arts from Brigham
Young University in 2004, with a degree in philosophy. Spencer
taught English in China for several years and was a gifted
writer and thinker. A charismatic, charming and energetic
man, Spencer made friends easily at home and abroad and
brought hilarity and intensity to every occasion. He was
a wonderful father, brother, and son, and will be dearly
missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016
at 11:00 am at the Northridge LDS Stake Center Chapel, 1695
North 200 West, Orem, Utah. The family will be there to
greet relatives and friends. Interment will be at the Alpine
City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made

Was born July 24, 1931 in Richmond Indiana at the home
of James Thurman Reed and Mae Euphemia Holmquist. Catherine had three
younger brothers; Robert Joseph, James Thomas, and Richard Allen Reed.
