Kody Myers Olson

Our loving son, brother, and grandson, Kody Myers Olson, returned to the arms of his Heavenly Father on March 6, 2016

Kody was born in Salt Lake City on October 4, 1990 to Todd and Julene Olson. Kody was always happy and easy-going. He had a heart of gold and everyone he met loved him. He always found the silver lining and the good in others. He loved hunting in Colorado and was an avid outdoorsman. He also enjoyed baseball and golf.

Kody is preceded in death by his grandparents Kenneth Dowden, Joyce Dowden, and Clinton Marsh, his uncle Brent Marsh, and cousin Mary Elizabeth Olson. He is survived by his grandparents, Margene Marsh and Ivan (Carol) Olson, his parents Todd and Julene Olson, his siblings Stephanie (John) Reynolds, Jason (Kandice) Olson, Luke Olson and Jacob Olson, his nephews whom he adored, Landon, Kason, Lincoln, and Benson, as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Bluffdale 7th LDS Ward Chapel, 2742 West 14400 South, Bluffdale, Utah. Family and friends may call Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the church, and again on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to services at the church. Interment will be at the Alpine City Cemetery.
