Pauline Martin Openshaw passed away peacefully Tuesday,
April 24, 2012 in Riverton, UT, surrounded by her loving
Polly was born Oct. 26, 1913 in Tempe, AZ to James Calloway
and Harriet Alice Busby Martin. She married John "S"
Openshaw Aug. 8, 1933. John and Polly owned and operated
Openshaw Electric Co. for many years in Chandler, AZ. She
was a homemaker and bookkeeper, active in DAR, Daughters
of Utah Pioneers, Chandler Women’s Club, other civic
organizations, and held many LDS Church callings.
Polly is survived by her children: Laree Dudding, Martin
(Idon), Bob (Joan), and Linda (Ken Stoffers), 27 grandchildren,
66 great-grandchildren, and 6 great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wed., May 2, 2012 at 11:00
am at the Highland 6th Ward Chapel, 6050 W. Chapel Dr.,
Highland, Utah. Friends may call Tues. evening from 6:00-8:00
pm at the Warenski Funeral Home, 1776 N. 900 E. American
Fork, Utah and Wed. Morning from 10:00-10:45 am prior to
services at the church. Interment will be in Mesa, AZ.
Was born July 24, 1931 in Richmond Indiana at the home
of James Thurman Reed and Mae Euphemia Holmquist. Catherine had three
younger brothers; Robert Joseph, James Thomas, and Richard Allen Reed.
