was the 9th child of William and Myrtle Johnson, born on
August 27, 1927. Marion joined her brothers and sisters
Blaine, Allen, Norma, Roland, Glen, the twins, Ray and Reed,
and Betty Marie. Donna and Paul joined the clan a few years
Marion had two children, Susan and Marcus Wesley. She raised
them as a single mother for most of their lives. She worked
in the dispensary at U.S. Steel’s Geneva works until
her retirement in 1983. Not one to remain idle, Marion began
working at the Pink Shop located in the American Fork Hospital.
She became the buyer for the Pink Shop – the perfect
job. As she used to say: “what could be better than
shopping for a living”. For nearly 20 years, the visitors
to the Pink Shop enjoyed the charm and style Marion’s
“shopping” brought to the store.
Besides her shopping, Marion’s hobbies included golf.
She loved the days she spent golfing with her friends at
Alpine Country Club and Tri-City Golf Course. Marion was
a friend to all, her beautiful smile and kind words brightened
the day of all those who had the good fortune to meet her.
The Johnsons were always a very close-knit family who loved
and looked out for each other. Marion was much loved by
her brothers and sisters and her parents William and Myrt
Johnson. On February 6, 2015, Marion left this life to embrace
the members of the Johnson clan that have gone before. She
is survived by her children, Marc and Susan, sister, Donna
and brother Paul, grandsons, Ryan and Riker and many nieces
