Loretta Bowman Parker
1939 ~ 2013

Loretta B. Parker passed away May 30, 2013 in American Fork, Utah. She was born June 17, 1939 in Heber, Utah to John James and Elsie LeOra Bowman. She married H. Allen Parker, May 31, 1957 in American Fork, Utah. They were later sealed in the Logan Temple. Together they had nine children.

She is a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in many callings. She particularly enjoyed her time in the primary, scouts and serving in the Billings Montana Mission with her eternal companion.

Loretta is survived by her husband and children, Judi (Ty) Fraughton, Curtis (Dori) Parker, Jason (LuAnne) Parker, Shawn (Melanie) Parker, Adrienne (Matt) Ball, Martin (Heidi) Parker, twenty eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and her sister LoAnn Sorenson. She is preceded in death by her oldest three children, Jeanette Parker, Nedra Manookin, and James Parker, four sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11:00 am at the American Fork 27th LDS Ward Chapel, 165 North 350 West in American Fork. Family and friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 3, 2013 at Warenski Funeral Home, 1776 North 900 East in American Fork, and from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to services at the church. Interment will be held following the services in the American Fork City Cemetery.
