Wilkin Price, age 80, passed away on January 23, 2015. She
was born on April 1, 1934 in Lehi, Utah, to John Reid and
Rosabelle “Rose” Jacobs Wilkin. She married
Boyd Lehmberg on July 23, 1950 and had two sons, Ned Lehmberg
and Blake “Yak” Lehmberg. They later divorced.
She married Richard Edward Price on September 4, 1959 in
Lehi, Utah. They had one daughter, Teresa Price. They were
sealed in the Mount Timpanogos Temple on May 6, 2005. She
was involved in many church callings and activities. Sonja
worked for Alpine School District as a “Lunch Lady”
for 20+ years, and also worked for many years at Miller’s
Sonja was an avid Green Bay Packer and Jazz fan, along
with being a member of the Red Hats Society.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Ned (Kaleen) Lehmberg and
Blake “Yak” Lehmberg, 1 daughter, Teresa (Karina)
Price, 2 step daughters, Mona and Bette, 15 grandchildren,
30 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and
2 brothers, Boyd (Carol) Wilkin and Nile (Elaine) Wilkin,
many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a long list of loving
and caring family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband “Eddie”,
3 bothers, 1 sister, 1 stepdaughter, and 1 granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 30, 2015,
at 11:00 am at the Lehi 6th LDS Ward Chapel, 200 South 200
West, Lehi, Utah. Family and friends may call Thursday evening
from 6:00-8:00 pm and also at an additional viewing on Friday
morning from 9:30-10:30 am prior to services at the church.
Interment will take place in the Lehi City Cemetery.
Was born July 24, 1931 in Richmond Indiana at the home
of James Thurman Reed and Mae Euphemia Holmquist. Catherine had three
younger brothers; Robert Joseph, James Thomas, and Richard Allen Reed.
