1929 ~ 2016
Farrel Price, 86 years old, died in his home in Alpine,
Utah, surrounding by his loving family. He passed into his
Heavenly Father's loving arms in the early morning hours
of January 9, 2016. Farrel died of cancer and complications
of Parkinson's disease.
Born March 24, 1929 in Malad, Idaho to Sara Jones Price
and Albert Richardson Price, he was the baby of the family.
His two sisters are LaNae Dance, 93 and Lucille Morris,
89. He was the adored by his sisters.
Farrel enlisted in the Navy and saw service in the South
Pacfic. He rose to the rank of 3rdClass Petty Officer.
He met the love of his life, Mickie Elson and married
April 25, 1952 and later married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
They had three children, Bobbette Price Fletcher, Diane
Marie Price Simmons and Bradley Farrel Price.
Farrel started as a carpenter and began to work for RenaWare
Cookware as a sales person in 1952. He rose to the office
of Vice President and General Sales Manager of RenaWare.
He was interested in learning new things in life. Farrel
was an avid reader, fly fisherman,skier, pilot. He was an
active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday
Saints serving in many callings and Bishoprics. He loved
the Lord will all his soul.
Farrel Price will be deeply missed by his wife, Mickie,
three children, 11 grandchildren, 25 and a half great grandchildren
and one great-great grandson.
Farrel always quoted the Golden Rule and said, "Always,
before making a decision, I stop and ask myself, 'Is it
fair to all concerned?' Honesty and integrity above all.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2016
at 11:00 am at the Alpine 9th LDS Ward Chapel, 901 East
Village Way, Alpine, Utah. Family and friends may call on
Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Warenski
Funeral Home, 1776 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah,
and on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior
to services. Interment will follow at Alpine City Cemetery
