Doyle Jay Pyne
1942 ~ 2013

Doyle Jay Pyne, 70, passed away June 30, 2013 at his home in Lehi, Utah. Doyle was born July 3, 1942, in Provo, Utah to Samuel Otis and Vivian Tucker Pyne. He grew up in Orem, Utah and graduated from Brigham Young University. Along with serving an LDS mission in Northern California, he served in various church positions.

On January 28, 1965, he married Judy Walker in the Salt Lake Temple. They have seven children. He is survived by his wife and his children, Stephanie and Cameron Smith, Jay and Tara Pyne, Greg and Brittney Pyne, Steve Pyne, Diana and Dallas Petersen, Gary and Christine Pyne, and Kim and Chris Canning. They have 27 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Lola and Ron Liston, Elaine and Morris Told, Mel and Michelle Pyne, and Roger and Chris Pyne. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Lehi 39th Ward Chapel, 1929 West 1500 North, Lehi, Utah. Family and friends may pay respects prior to funeral services from 9:30 - 10:30 am. Interment will be in the Lehi City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Diabetes Association (1-800-342-2383).
