Ray was born in Sidney, Ohio to Carl and Mildred Webster
Roeller. He was the oldest of 3 children. He is survived
by his sister Judith (David Gillespie, deceased), and was
preceded in death by his brother Jack (Sharline Olsen, also
Ray married Nancy Kaylor in 1954. They are the parents
of seven children, Joseph John, deceased; Kristin (David
Dressman); Dirk; Shawn (Mark Rocco); Todd (Lisa Gardner);
Shelly, (Allan Neilsen); Laura; 25 grandchildren and 11
great grandchildren. Preceded in death also by a granddaughter
and a great granddaughter. Ray and Nancy were divorced in
1987. Ray later married Diane Pearson, deceased in 2007.
Diane has six children, Robyn (Todd Cole); John Rigby (Marci);
Wendy (Jeff Williams); Nancy (Robert Slaymaker); James Rigby;
Jeremy Rigby (Billie); and numerous step grandchildren and
step great grandchildren.
Ray's life, education and work started in Ohio, then on
to Montana, Wyoming, and Utah where he spent the remainder
of his life. He was a husband first, father second, and
always the consummate teacher. In his final years he enjoyed
his family, fishing, traveling, and one-on-one time with
his kids. "Dad, we're going to miss your tall tales
and goofy sense of humor!"
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday,
June 4, 2016 at the Warenski Funeral Home, 1776 North 900
East, American Fork, Utah. Family and friends may call from
10:00 to 11:00 at the funeral home prior to services. Interment
will be at the Woodland Cemetery. A special thank you to

younger brothers; Robert Joseph, James Thomas, and Richard Allen Reed.
