Cherril Tucker Sparks
1934 ~ 2017
Cherril Tucker Sparks was born on August 6, 1934 to Myron
Frank and Lucy Brady Sparks in Clear Creek, Utah.
Her family moved to Fairview, Utah when she was two years
old and there she attended schools in Fairview and Mt. Pleasant.
She graduated from North Sanpete High School and attended
Snow College for 1 ½ years. She met and later married
Hume LaRell Sparks on June 24, 1955 in the Manti Temple.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day Saints where she held many callings in the Salt
Lake North 33rd Ward. Cherril and LaRell lived near the
University of Utah Campus for 43 years before moving to
Cedar Hills, Utah.
Cherril worked for Z.C.M.I. for 31 years. She loved to
camp with her family and travel with her husband to beautiful
destination throughout the world. She loved her children
very much and was especially fond of her daughters-in-law.
She tried very hard, and succeeded in making many sweet
memories for each of her family members.
Cherril is survived by her husband, LaRell and three sons,
Michael (Jan) Sparks of Bountiful, Donald (Kerstin) Sparks
of West Jordan and Terry (Nancy) Sparks of Cedar Hills also
brothers, Clair and Robert Tucker and 9 grandsons, 2 granddaughters
as well as 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death
by her son Dean, parents, Frank and Lucy Tucker, sister,
LaRue Johnson and brother, Frank Tucker.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017
at 11:00 am in the Cedar Hills 6th LDS Ward Chapel located
at 9737 North Chesterfield Drive, Cedar Hills, Utah. Family
and friends may call on Friday morning from 9:30-10:30 am
prior to services at the church. Interment will be held
at Mountain View Memorial Estates located at 3115 Bengal
Boulevard, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. Services under the
direction of Warenski Funeral Home of American Fork, Utah.
In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Kidney
Foundation in Dean Sparks name or to the Humanitarian fund
of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
