Rae Terry Stratford
1943 ~ 2016
beautiful mother, daughter, grandmother and sister passed
away peacefully of natural causes in her home Thursday,
January 28, 2016.
Linda Rae Terry Stratford was born in San Bernardino, California
on September 28, 1943 to Ambrose Ray Terry and Lila Rose
Hayes Terry. She met and fell in love with Theron Jack Stratford,
Jr. They sealed their love on February 24, 1961 in the Los
Angeles, California Temple. Two and a half months ago her
heart broke as she had to temporarily say good-bye to her
sweetheart. Now they have been reunited, never to part again.
She would do anything unconditionally for her children
and grandchildren. She was very generous with everyone and
she always put their needs before her own. Aside from her
family, her number one love was the beach. She spent as
many days as she could relaxing and rejuvenating on the
sand listening to the sound of the waves. That was her favorite.
Part of her last days were spent in Hawaii for Christmas
with her granddaughter. She was incredibly happy there.
Linda was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter Day Saints. She served in a variety of church
callings and loved every one of them. Her favorite callings
were serving in the Primary, as a Stake Missionary and a
temple worker in the Mount Timpanogos Temple in the nursery
taking care of the children and bringing them to the sealing
room to their parents. Her grandchildren loved snuggling
up to her on her bed. She especially loved snuggling every
new baby that came into the family. She sure loved snuggling
Linda is survived by her mother Lila Terry, daughter Shelly
