Beth Swindle Sundstrom
1914 ~ 2013

Beth Swindle Sundstrom was called home on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the age of 98. She was born August 17, 1914 to Emma McIntyre Warnock and Heber Swindle. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph H. Sundstrom.

Beth loved history; she was involved in genealogy and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers for many years. She loved to garden and spend time outside enjoying the flowers and beauty of nature. Beth was very talented in needlepoint and handwork - creating many beautiful handkerchiefs, towels, and tablecloths. She enjoyed drawing and crafting and was always creating something to warm her home. Beth adored her nieces and nephews and often spent time with them and their families. With the support of family members, she was lovingly and tirelessly cared for by her devoted great-niece Peggy H. Anderson for the past 11 years. Beth was adored by all who met her and will be sorely missed; however we anticipate that there was a great celebration as she reunited with her parents and siblings: Elva Plummer, Ruth Hammond, Roscoe Swindle, and Blanche Plummer. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, and many, many loving great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 11:00 am at the American Fork 14th LDS Ward Chapel, 1100 East 400 North in American Fork. Family and friends may call Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to services at the church. Interment at Monroe City Cemetery in Monroe.
