Paul Heiner Swenson
1987 ~ 2017

Paul Heiner Swenson was born on March 6, 1987, in American Fork, Utah to Reed and Mary Ann Swenson. He was the fifth of eight children, one of seven boys and one girl. He grew up in Cedar Hills, Utah. Paul worked hard to become an Eagle Scout.

He attended both Manila Elementary and Cedar Ridge Elementary. He attended Junior High at Mountain Ridge. He attended High School at Lone Peak. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served a two-year mission to the Winnipeg Canada Mission.

He attended Utah Valley University before a career in sales, managing a large sales force. He had a gift for inspiring others as a leader and consultant. Paul had a unique ability to help others reach their goals and define their purpose. He had an infectious laugh and a personality that drew others to him. He was a friend to all and kept associations all over the country. Many considered him their "best friend." He had a terrific sense of humor and could make others smile and see the beauty in life. Pauls greatest desires were to connect deeply with those in his life. He acted as a life coach and confidant to numerous friends and family. He found his deepest joy seeing others around him succeed.

Paul loved hunting, fishing, riding his horses, snowmobiling, river rafting, and boating. He loved the outdoors and spent considerable time in the mountains. Paul loved life and found so much joy in living life to the fullest. He has traveled extensively and loved to see new places and experience new cultures.

He married the love of his life, Ashlee Ann Kendall Martindale on February 18, 2011, in the Salt Lake Temple. Ashlee and Paul loved to travel and built their fondest memories with their large circle of friends. On December 15, 2016, their beautiful daughter, Poppy Rae, was born. She is the light of both Ashlee and Paul's life. She was the realization of a very important dream.

He passed away on August 13, 2017. We will miss Paul every day. His shining light still burns brightly in Heaven.
