sweet Tavia Rae "Budda" Turner, 31, of Tooele,
returned to her heavenly home unexpectedly on Saturday morning,
July 9, 2011 at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City.
Unable to verbally express her joy for life, Tavia will
be remembered for her exuberant hugs, which we already sorely
miss. She loved all animals, especially puppies, dancing
to music, playing with her Legos and other noisy toys.
Budda was 100% girly girl, and loved nail polish, getting
her hair styled, wearing her collection of jeans, and finishing
her outfits with of any kind of shoes and jewelry. Tavia
had a talent of making friends with anyone and everyone
she met. She unselfishly gave her love, friendship and hugs
to all around her, an impression which was instant and enduring.
Tavia was born September 8, 1979, in Monroe, Michigan to
Nelson R. (Skip) and Sharon E. (Feldkamp) Turner. She lived
in Battle Creek, Michigan for most of her life, and attended
Doris Klaussen Developmental Center until 2006, when she
moved to Utah. She leaves behind with joyous memories her
mother, Sharon Turner, her loving sister and custodial guardian,
Tabitha Turner, two brothers, Timothy and Thaddeus Turner,
five sisters, Trisha Howard, TeriAnn Carpenter, Tressie
Farnsworth, Tiffany Pedersen, and Tangela Brown and maternal
grandmother Evelyn Feldkamp.
We know she'll be singing and dancing with the angels in
heaven until we meet her again.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 15, from 9:00 to 10
a.m. at the Overlake 4th LDS Ward Chapel located at 220
West 2200 North Tooele Utah. Funeral services will begin
at 10:00 a.m. with the interment to follow at Tooele City
