Chad Barry Cloward was born on June 22, 1985 in Provo, Utah and died on November 22, 2020 in Spanish Fork, Utah. He was the first son of four sons born to Barry Lynn and Jennifer Pearson Cloward of Herriman, Utah. Chad is survived by his three children: Davin Chad Cloward, Liam Gregory Cloward, and Sarina Lynn Cloward; his parents; three brothers: Tyson P. (Holly) Cloward, J. Gregory (Caitlyn) Cloward, and Dallin D. Cloward; and one Nephew Ryan D. Cloward.

Chad graduated from Lone Peak High School in May 2003.  He was inherently intelligent and received an ACT score of 32. He also graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Computer Science.

Chad had a natural talent for anything related to computers and technology. This talent led to his occupation as a Senior Software Engineer. Chad worked for multiple industry leading companies and had substantial experience in software architecture and development.

Chad loved his children very deeply and expressed his love to them frequently. It was with them that he found his greatest joy and happiness. He most enjoyed spending time with them cooking, playing games, watching movies and eating “Panda Bear.” He worked very hard to ensure that they were happy. Chad had an infectious smile and laugh that could cheer up anyone. He also enjoyed: skydiving, all things Star Wars, and raising bunnies.

Chad was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He frequently served in callings related to technology and enjoyed serving others.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to all friends and family for their love and support at this time.

The family has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of memories and stories of times when Chad touched their lives, gave service to them or their families, and/or showed the true man he really was. Chad had a very big heart and we know many more experiences are yet to be told. For this reason, the family would like to request that you pay tribute to Chad by sending your memories to the following email link TributeToChad@gmail.com . A book containing these memories will then be compiled and treasured by his children & family forever.
