Sandra Louise Trimble Larsen passed suddenly from this life on March 25, 2022 in Lehi, Utah at the age of 73. She is a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Sandra was born on May 28, 1948, to Noel “Dude” Trimble and Louise Ellen Brohard Trimble in Russell, Kansas. When Sandra was two years old her family moved to Pleasant Grove, Utah, where she lived for most of her life. She graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1966. She spent her after-school hours as a member of the pep club and cheerleader for the PGHS Vikings.

Sandra married W. Kent Larsen on March 31, 1967. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on March 31, 1969. They raised their sons, Brian, Nathan, and Andy while living in the Pleasant Grove area. They moved to American Fork and later in retirement moved to the warmer climate of Ivins, Utah for health reasons. Sandra and Kent relocated to Lehi just a few months before Sandra’s passing to be closer to family.

Sandra cherished her children and grandchildren. She loved doing “dress-ups” with her granddaughters. She spent many hours at the baseball fields throughout Utah cheering on family and being their number one fan, cheering “Have a glove!” She also loved reading to her grandkids and had quite the collection of books to read together.

Sandra was both an avid reader and life-long learner who was always eager to expand her knowledge. She learned sign language, took multiple computer program classes, and taught herself to play the piano. She worked for many years as a secretary at Lindon Elementary School, Cascade Elementary School, and the Clark Medical Clinic.

Sandra was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she enjoyed giving service through her Church callings. She loved working with children and was a devoted Primary teacher and member of the Primary presidency. Sandra especially loved serving as an ordinance worker at the Mt. Timpanogos Temple for 11 years.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Kent Larsen; her sons, Brian (Tina) Larsen, Nathan (Andrea) Larsen, and Andrew (Emily) Larsen; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Carol Trimble Winters and brother-in-law Weston Winters.

Sandra was interred at the American Fork City Cemetery on Saturday, April 2, 2022 following a family graveside service.
