Amanda “Dusty” Janine Sessions
Amanda “Dusty” Janine Sessions
1987 – 2022
On Saturday May 28, 2022, Amanda “Dusty” Janine Sessions (34) gained her angel wings alongside one of her beloved children.
Amanda was born May 29, 1987 to her birth mother Becky Barnes in Salt Lake City and was later adopted by Rickie and Duane Sessions where they resided in the Kearns and West Jordan areas. She later had two kids, her son Gage in 2009 and then Kennydi in 2011.
Amanda was a free spirit and was loved and adored by many though her children were her first loves and main focus. She instilled exceptional traits, showed endless love, support and guidance for anything they wanted to do and could possibly need.
She was the absolute best hugger. Big bear hug style and she wouldn’t let go until she was ready. Her contagious laugh fit nicely with her amazing storytelling and bad dad jokes.
She was always someone who would go to the ends of the earth to help those in need. Her loving charismatic nature is why so many adopted her as their own and welcomed her and her kids into their hearts, homes, and families. Her vast family and friends show the amount of people she has touched in her near 35 years of life.
Amanda and Gage will be greatly missed but will be celebrated for many years to come.
She is survived by her beautiful daughter Kennydi Sessions, Siblings: Kirk Sessions (Cindy), Brian Sessions (Randy), Tammy Orton (Tim), Stephanie Lee (Clint), Susan Hayward (Eli), Leishawn Hayward, T.J. Mannos (Amy), Cari May (Henry), Andy Wallace, Christopher Seiber, Juniper Ray, Chad Porter, Trish Brown (Chris) Jess Sharp (Sam) Sara Preston (John), Mom: Bette Porter. Additional families: the Jeffries family with many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mom, Rickie and her dad, Duane and Her son Gage.
Funeral Services for Amanda will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Founders Park 2nd Ward Chapel located at 4137 West Foxview Drive, South Jordan Utah.
