Victoria Burget, age 94, passed away on February 21, 2023 in Alpine, Utah.

She was born in Bushehr, Iran to the late Ebadollah Amirchoopani and Mohtaram Saltaneh Fateh on October 29, 1928.

Victoria grew up in Tehran, Iran with dreams of traveling the world.  When working as a bilingual typist for the US Embassy in Tehran in the 1960’s, she met and married Robert Burget.  They spent the next few years living in various countries across the Middle East due to Robert’s assignments with the US State Department.   She became a US Citizen during a R & R trip to the US in 1965.  After Robert’s overseas assignments ended, they moved to Los Angeles, CA and started a family with the birth of their son, Daniel.  She spent time working as a licensed practical nurse in California before deciding to focus on raising her son and managing the household.  They spent many happy years together living in California, Oregon, Virginia, and Texas.  Victoria’s hobbies included fishing, sewing, cooking, golfing, gardening, playing bridge, and socializing with friends.  Her outgoing and positive personality led her to form many friendships through the years. She was a superb hostess and enjoyed entertaining friends and family at her home well into her 90s.  One of her greatest joys was being fortunate enough to live near and spend time with her only granddaughter, Anna.

Victoria is predeceased by her loving husband of 44 years Robert, her parents, and siblings: Mansour, Massood, Mehrangiz, and Iraj.

Survivors include Victoria’s loving son Daniel, his wife Laura, and their daughter Anna, of Draper, Utah; step children Bruce Burget, Diana Doseck, Robert Burget Jr., Linda Kopetzky, and their spouses, children, and grandchildren.
