Dallon Boyd Warenski

1966 – 2023

Dallon Boyd Warenski, age 56, returned home to his Heavenly Father on May 26, 2023 in the Sandstone Care Center in Millcreek, Utah, after a long illness. He was born September 10, 1966 in Bountiful, Utah to Boyd M Warenski and Colleen Kimber Warenski.  Dallon was one of 5 children: Carollynn, Renee, Richard, Dallon, and Russell (stillborn).

He graduated from Richfield High School and served in the US Army as a Medical Laboratory Technician.

Dallon married Georganna Abrams, later divorced. They had 3 children, Geoffrey (stillborn), Jessica (Tennessee) and Justin (Utah).

Dallon later married Marcy Williams, later divorced. They had 2 children, Keyton (Utah) and Kaylieann (Utah).

Dallon joined the U.S. Army in 1984 and served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps as a Medical Lab Specialist for nearly 10 years. His military career took him to Fort Knox, KY, Ireland Army Community Hospital; South Korea, 121st Evac Hospital: and Fort Lewis, WA, Madigan Army Medical Center. After leaving the military, the skills he learned allowed him to work in medical labs at the Holy Cross, Cottonwood, Jordan Valley West Hospitals, and most recently at the Jordan Valley Hospital –where he worked as a Clinical Lab Assistant for the last 15 years.

Dallon was hardworking and willing to help others. In 1999 he courageously donated bone marrow which helped his brother Richard survive a bout with leukemia.

His hobbies included camping and hiking (especially with his dad); genealogy with his mom; needlecraft; Scooby-Doo collectibles, and the music of Lindsey Stirling.

Dallon was preceded in death by his mother, and brothers Richard Ralph Warenski and Russell Warenski, and his son Geoffrey Warenski.

Dallon is survived by his children Keyton, Kaylieann; Jessica, Justin; his father, Boyd Warenski; siblings Carollynn Montgomery (Ray), and Renee Murphy (B); 5 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family expresses thanks to the staff of the University of Utah Hospital, the VA Medical Center, and the Sandstone Care Center for the kind care he received; and to the Warenski Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Dallon will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Sandy 1st Ward Chapel, located at 8670 South 220 East, Sandy, Utah. Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at the church and also to an additional viewing on Wednesday morning from 9:00-9:45 am prior to services also at the church. Interment will follow services in the Joseph Cemetery, located at 132 South 250 West, Joseph, Utah at 3:00 pm
