Charles Douglas Howes born March 7, 1979 in American Fork, Utah, passed away peacefully in his home on October 2, 2023 at 6:36 pm after his 11-year battle with cancer at the age of 44.

He was sealed to his beloved wife in the Salt Lake City Temple on October 25, 2003. He passed just short of his 20th wedding anniversary. He is survived by his loving and forever wife, Sidney, and his five spirited children, Jade, Seann, Reacher, Grayson, and Jude. He was preceded in death by his mother Linda (Clingman) Howes and his brother Ben Howes. 

Linda most likely met Charlie with a diet coke as they often shared them together. They are finally reunited and have many memories to share together. He enjoyed working with his hands, fixing anything that moved. He also enjoyed hiking, camping, and being in nature. He was a natural servant and did many things for other people to help them. He was a loving father to his children and was a fantastic husband. 

A receiving line will be held from 5:00-6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 followed by a funeral service where his family will offer their thoughts and prayers from 6:00-7:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 5853 West 10400 North, Highland, Utah.
