In Loving Memory of Charee (Yates) Housekeeper
Charee (Yates) Housekeeper, born on July 19, 1961, to Charlotte Shurtz and William (Bill) Yates, embarked on her final journey.
She peacefully departed from this world, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and creativity.
Charee’s life was a testament to her caring nature. A graduate of Orem High School, she dedicated 25 years of her life to the Utah Developmental Center, finding immense joy and fulfillment in caring for others. Her work touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on those she served.
Charee was not only a devoted caregiver but also a woman of many talents and hobbies. Much of her creativity was self-taught, she loved crocheting, cross stitching. and crafting porcelain dolls, often sharing this passion with her sister Vicki and Aunt Carolyn. Her artistic pursuits included watercolors, pastels, colored pencils. She loved giving finished artwork to family and friends.
Family was at the heart of Charee’s world. She leaves behind a loving family, including her dear husband, Dennis, of 29 years, her children, KC (Lindsey) Jepperson, Jody Jensen, and Chance Housekeeper, as well as step-children, Shannan Housekeeper, Regan Housekeeper, and Ashley Housekeeper. Her legacy extends to her twelve grandchildren: Kylah, Jayson, Jaylin, Janae, Jax, Liam, Khloe, Kreed, Lincoln, Kash, Emery, and Brock. Charee’s unconditional love and warmth will continue to live on in their hearts.
Charee’s journey home is preceded by her father, Bill Yates, step-fathers, Lionel Austin and Brad Parsons and her brother, Jerry Yates.
Above all, Charee’s life was guided by her deep love for her Heavenly Father and her cherished family. Her faith and devotion served as a source of strength and inspiration to those fortunate enough to know her.
As we bid farewell to Charee, we remember the love and light she brought into our lives. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts, a reminder of the beauty of selflessness, creativity, and unwavering love. She has found her peace, and in her memory, may we find comfort.
A brief service will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Warenski Funeral Home Chapel, located at 1776 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah. The family asks you to join them for a visitation on Tuesday, evening February 6, 2024 form 6:00-8:00 pm at the Warenski Funeral Home.
For those in attendance to the service, it will conclude with a closing prayer being given at Pleasant Grove Cemetery (West Side Lawn) located at 500 North 100 West Pleasant Grove, UT 84062
