Jeffrey Wayne Eliason

1961 ~ 2024

Jeffrey Wayne Eliason completed his earthly journey in the early morning of October 23rd, 2024. He passed peacefully in his sleep at home with his wife, Michelle, holding his hand. We know that he was welcomed to the other side with open arms by his mom, dad, sister, and many others.

Jeff was born on August 27, 1961 in Logan, Utah to Robert Wayne Eliason and Carla Jean Cooper Brenchley. Raised in American Fork, he played baseball and basketball, performed in the jazz and marching band, and served as student body president in both junior and high school. After serving a mission in Guatemala, he married the love of his life, Michelle, and together they fell in love with Texas.

Jeff was the definition of optimism, kind-heartedness, and unconditional love. Affectionately known by his family as “The Mayor,” Jeff seemed to be known by everyone wherever he went. Regardless of the circumstances, he made people feel important and let them know they were his friend. Through his sales & marketing career, church callings particularly in Texas, and his lifelong friends, his influence reaches far beyond those in his innermost circle.

With Michelle by his side, he did all he could to never miss a moment with the ones he loved. His greatest joy was spending time with his family at home, dance recitals, sports games, and reunions. When he and Michelle weren’t supporting other people, they were supporting each other, talking, laughing, and singing together.

More than anything, he loved his grandchildren, David, Joseph, Oliver, Leo, Noah, Luna, Tenley, Bronson, and Max. They were the light of his life.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Michelle LaComb Eliason, as well as his children and their spouses, Jeffrey and Marina Eliason, Jordan and Trista Eliason, Meg Eliason, and Theron and McKenzie Long.
