Shareeta Ann Stucki Campbell

1954 ~ 2024

After a four-month battle with cancer, Shareeta Ann (Stucki) Campbell passed away peacefully in her home on December 19, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.  Sharee was born to Grant Alfred Stucki and Sharon Reeta Turner on March 16, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois where Grant was attending dental school. She lived there with her siblings, Grant, Randy, and Candy until 1969 when her father was called to serve as the President of the Northwestern States Oregon Mission.  For the next three years she lived and attended high school in Portland, Oregon where she was homecoming queen and a princess in Portland’s Rose Parade.

Sharee attended Brigham Young University where she dated and became engaged to one of her parents’ missionaries, Craig James Campbell, and was married soon after on June 15, 1973, in the Los Angeles Temple. Shortly after their marriage, they appeared twice on ABC’s, The Newlywed Game, being invited back again after finishing in second place during their first appearance.

Sharee and Craig opened a podiatry practice in Torrance, California where Sharee worked as the office manager while taking care of her children, Grant, Sharon, Craig, and Crystal in their home in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.  There, in Southern California, she was surrounded by her extended family, including her grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and all her siblings, all of whom gathered for weekly family nights in a group that eventually exceeded 100 family members. In 1998, Sharee and Craig moved their family to Alpine, Utah.

Sharee was a lifelong faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She repeatedly told her family and others that she never doubted the reality of Jesus Christ. Sharee served in various church callings throughout her life and particularly loved serving in the primary, where she served as a teacher, activity leader, and as her Ward Primary President.

Above all else, Sharee loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren who adored her. An annual highlight for her grandchildren was their birthday date with Nana when they would go to lunch and pick out a birthday gift. Her grandchildren loved going to “Nana’s house” on a regular basis for Sunday dinners or just to visit.  She provided loving counsel and support to all her family all her life. Her lifelong and dying wish was that her family remain true to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Sharee was preceded in death by her parents and her younger brother, Taylor Stucki.  She is survived by her husband, Craig, her younger siblings, Grant (Wendy), Randy (Sonya), Candy (Dan), and Turner, children, Grant, Sharon (Dave), Craig, and Crystal (Alex), and eight grandchildren.

Sharee will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the Alpine 3rd Ward Chapel, located at 285 North Matterhorn Drive, Alpine, Utah. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday morning from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm prior to services at the church.
