Allison Michelle Holland Jensen was born in Jackson, Mississippi on September 23rd, 1982.
‘Allie’ is how she was known and loved by all who were lucky enough to have been part of her life. She was 42 at the time of her passing, in her home in Highland, Utah, surrounded by her loving husband and children as well as a massive, loving, extended family. All who knew her knew of her radiant soul, her beaming smile, and a willingness to try to help others even in the face of a long battle with cancer.
Allie grew up in Mississippi and Florida until the age of 17 when she moved with her family to Utah. After high school, she met Darwin, who was the love of her life. They married for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on June 18, 2005.
Allie was self-sacrificing and always put her family first. She was an active dance mom in addition to attending her boys’ football and baseball games. She and Darwin loved taking an active role in their children’s activities. Allie graduated from Lehi High School, then attended cosmetology school and had a special talent and skill for making others feel beautiful – inside and out. She loved refinishing furniture as a hobby, doing crafts, and anything creative that caught her attention. Allie had a wonderful sense of humor that kept everyone laughing even during times when she was hurting. She brought joy to so many and will be always loved and so missed.
On Thursday, February 13th, 2025, Allie passed away peacefully after a seven-year battle with ACC.
Allie is survived by her husband, Darwin Lynn Jensen, and her children: Tyler, Kade, and Samantha. She is also survived by: her parents, Janna Lynn Walker (Lane) Anderson, Richard David (Cindy) Holland, and Jan Smith Holland (stepmom); her brothers and sisters: Jacob (Reagan) Holland, Jennifer Holland, Lindsay (Skyler) Messegee, Brady Holland, Matthew (Rebecca) Anderson, and Jessica (Camden) Ewell. She is also survived by her sweet nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Allie’s funeral will be held on Monday, February 24th, 2025 at 11:00 am. There will be a viewing on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 pm, and one on Monday, February 24th from 9:30-10:30 am. Both of the viewings and funeral will be held at the Highland Utah Stake Building, located at 5335 W 11200 N, Highland, Utah.
