Jeannine H. Baird
Jeannine H. Baird
1939 ~ 2021
In honor of our beloved mother:
Jeannine H. Baird was born June 28, 1939, in Bakersfield, CA, to Robert and June Bechtold. She passed August 11, 2021, in South Jordan, UT, holding the hand of her eternal companion, Karl S. Baird. The two were married on June 24, 1965, in the Los Angeles Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Jeannine lived a majority of her life in Southern California, leaving briefly for college in Laie, HI, and later with her husband in Provo, UT. She attained her cosmetology license which she tenured throughout her life. She was known, by her clients, friends, and family, for her amazing haircuts and perms; always perfect and never a hair out of place.
Jeannine and Karl began their family while in Utah, later moving to California. They ultimately planted roots in Camarillo, in 1978, to raise their six children. They resided in Camarillo until her health required greater assistance, causing a relocation to South Jordan. While they maintained a permanent home in Camarillo, they lived with family in South Jordan. Several children and grandchildren were privileged to care for Jeannine in her final months battling Lymphoma cancer. Despite her health issues, Jeannine was all about family, flowers and MUSIC!! Wherever she was, she would offer to play the piano or organ.
Jeannine lived and shared her love for her Savior, Jesus Christ, with her family, friends, and all she met through a life of service! Jeannine served in many callings of the Church. Closest to her heart: were serving with her husband as Temple Patrons in the Los Angeles Temple and as the Organist of many of her Church Wards. She would share her musical testimony wherever there was a need and never stopped doing what she could to share love to all who were in need!
Jeannine is survived by her Eternal Companion: Karl; her 2 siblings: Gary and Nancy; her 6 children: Kent, Kevan, Jennifer, Julianne, Janamarie and Keith; her 2 sons and 2 daughters-in-law and 19 grandchildren. She was greeted to her Heavenly home by her mother and father, sister Cathy and granddaughter Yzabeth, as well as many other family and friends that preceded her in death.
We love you mom and will miss you!
