William Arnold Patrick, age 88, of Alpine, passed away peacefully in the home he was raised in on Monday, July 15, 2024. 

He was born June 20, 1936 in Lehi, Utah to William Abraham Patrick and Arvilla Clara Olsen. 

Arnold grew up and attended elementary school in Alpine.  He graduated from American Fork High School in 1955.

He has been a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  He enjoyed opportunities to serve others and loved serving as a ward greeter for many years.

Arnold also served his country in the Army National Guard for 8 years.  Arnold worked in a variety of jobs over his lifetime and retired from the Alpine School District after 17 years.

Arnold was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lareeta Loertscher, brothers Billy (stillborn), Joseph, nephew Sheldon, step-siblings Gene Francom, Lionel Francom, Jeraldine Patrick and LaRae Hardman.   

He is survived by nephews and nieces Jeffery, Russell, LaMont, Kaylynne, Jaylene, Dawnelle and a sister-in-law Edith Patrick.

Graveside services for Arnold will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Alpine City Cemetery, located at 350 North Grove Drive, Alpine, Utah.
