It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rebecca Josephine Mayne, “Becky” age 44, on September 6, 2024. From natural causes due to respiratory issues. Becky was born on August 21, 1980, in Kemmerer, Wyoming, to George Mayne and Lorna Murdoch.

Becky was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend. She had a passion for all things motorcycles especially riding with her boyfriend Tim, a deep love for killer whales, all animals especially German Shepherds, and a particular fondness for Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. Her vibrant spirit and unique interests made her a joy to be around, and she had a way of making those around her feel loved and appreciated. She made friends with everyone she met, from her closest family members to the person in the checkout line at the store, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.

She is survived by her son, Nathan Mayne (23) (Camille), her daughter, Kennedy (10); her mother, Lorna; her father, George (Kim), her sisters Michelle, Carla, and Rachel; and her brothers Jason (Ruthann), Jared, Jake (Rachelle), CJ(Jessie), Ted (Brianna), and John. Becky’s love for her family was boundless, and she will be deeply missed by them all.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her sister, Mary.

Funeral services for Becky will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 11:00 am in the American Fork East Stake Center Chapel, located at 825 East 500 North, American Fork, Utah. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 am prior to services at the church. Interment will follow services at the American Fork City Cemetery.
