My father passed away a couple weeks ago and Shawn and his staff were absolutely amazing! From Shawn coming to the hospital to pick up my father in the wee hours of the morning, he was very gentle and caring. Took extreme care with my father’s body, including a nice warm blanket to cover him up. We had a couple unique requests, and Shawn didn’t even give it a second thought. He understands how important it is to still treat the dead with as much respect and dignity as the living. Then let’s talk about the preparation of my father’s body! He looked absolutely amazing and better than when he was alive the past couple months! Shawn was unable to attend the funeral due to scheduling conflicts, but Layton, and the other gentleman and even a student at the mortuary were all so empathetic, professional and helpful! When a loved one dies, no matter how prepared you are, it’s still a blur and you stress over the details, but Shawn and his staff definitely make the process easier and comforting. There is also an undeniable feeling of peace when you walk into the funeral home. I recommend Warenski Funeral Home with 50 stars! ⭐️

My mother passed away in June (of 2022), and she had instructed that her funeral arrangements be handled by the Warenski Funeral Home. Having previously written and published a book on the death care industry, I was on guard, but quickly learned that there was no need to be with this funeral home or the individual who helped take care of my mother (and my father's wife of 49 years.) Not only were we all handled with care, but my mother looked like herself... which takes an awful lot of patience and talent on behalf of the funeral director. Shawn captured my mom's beauty, and I cannot tell you just how much that assisted my entire family in the grieving process. The fees were clear, and FAIR. We were not upsold or in any way pressured to purchase any goods or services we did not need or want. Trust me, if there had been an inkling of an issue, I would not hesitate to write about it. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. When the inevitability of having to plan funeral services finds you, you're going to want to do yourself, your loved one that has passed, as well as your family the favor of working with the Warenskis.

I wish I could give Shawn 10 stars after all he has done for our family. He was comforting, kind, generous beyond belief, professional, and empathetic during one of the most trying and difficult times in our lives. Warenski Funeral home drove out of town to secure the remains of our loved one, prepared her in the most loving and caring way, and then drove all the way up to Idaho to her burial site. All of the logistics for this type of burial (out of state) were handled by Shawn, and we were so relieved he was able to not only walk us through this, but take care of everything for us. This type of treatment and care, with no questions asked, was beyond anything anyone could hope for or expect. All of this was done without us having to think twice about the arrangements, and always with a loving, "anything we can do" answer. Shawn has also cared for several other family members, including my grandparents, in the same compassionate and professional manner. We could never say enough kind words about or recommend Warenski Funeral Home enough! Shawn will never fully understand the depth of our gratitude!

I have dealt with more than a few mortuaries in the past but this one was absolutely the best. They surpassed every expectation. They cared for my mother in the most respectful way and treated our family with sincere empathy and care. Everything was taken care of efficiently. We had special circumstances with which to deal and they worked around our every need. I am so grateful to Shawn Warenski for all that he did for us. Under these trying circumstances, it was the best experience we could have ever hoped for. I highly recommend them.

My husband knew Shawn on a professional level before we retired and started our pre-needs planning. We went to Warenski because of the caring, honest, upright nature of Shawn himself. Kind of odd to recommend a funeral home, I’m hoping you don’t have to say goodbye too soon to your loved ones.
But if you do, I have no words for how much we loved Shawn. He is gentle and genuine, he is professional and personal.
He didn’t up sell us on anything and did all he could to make the day perfect.
My entire family would pause grieving and just rant about how impressed we were.

“Warenski’s is a hidden Gem! We went to a few other Funeral homes and we were treated in a “strictly business” fashion. We decided to look into the Warenski Funeral Home and we are so happy we did! Shawn was very helpful and sat down for a few hours with us and helped with recommendations and gave us some very good insight and helpful information. He treated us as friends and he gives you options with his friendly advice. They were less expensive on pretty much everything and he let you decide what you wanted instead of feeling like they were meeting a quota. The location is perfect as it is easy to find and we found the building to be much nicer and newer than most others. Shawn went out of his way to help us with things that I do not believe he even charged for, for example setting up chairs int the church.
