The funeral service is an important step in giving families a meaningful way to express their grief. The traditional funeral setting is a customary way to commemorate the life of a loved one. This option typically involves a funeral service at a church or the funeral home, with visitation and burial at the cemetery of your choice.
This option includes transfer of remains from the place of death, preparation of the deceased including embalming, cosmetology, dressing, and hairdressing. Professional Services include an arrangement conference with the family where personal information is gathered for the filing of all required documents (such as the death certificate, newspaper notices, social security forms, veterans applications, and insurance forms). During the conference, times are established for the visitation and service, as well as the supervision and facilities necessary for visitations and funeral ceremonies. Also included is the selection of merchandise including caskets and vaults. All transportation charges associated with the funeral service including transfer of remains to the funeral home, hearse for the day of the funeral service, flower vehicles for the transfer of flowers, etc. are discussed.
Cremation is an alternative to burial for final disposition. There are many choices available for those families wishing to cremate. From traditional ceremonies with visitation followed by cremation to basic immediate cremation with memorial services held at a church or at our funeral home. Our directors can provide all information regarding the various options and selections for cremation services that will fit your needs.
1. Traditional Cremation Service: One day visitation and service next day. This option includes basic professional services of funeral directors and staff, including the arrangement conference, embalming, cosmetology, dressing, arranging in the casket, use of facility for one day visitation and service the next day at the funeral home or church, vehicle and equipment to transfer remains to the funeral home, service/utility vehicle to file death certificates, transportation to crematory, the cremation process and the return of cremated remains to the funeral home.
2.One Day Visitation and Cremation Service: Visitation and service same day at funeral home with casket present. This includes basic professional services of funeral directors and staff, including the arrangement conference, embalming, cosmetology, dressing arranging in the casket, use of facility for same day visitation and service the next day at the funeral home or church, vehicle and equipment to transfer remains to the funeral home, service/utility vehicle to file death certificates, transportation to crematory, the cremation process and the return of cremated remains to the funeral home.
3. memorial Cremation Service: One hour visitation followed by memorial service without casket present. This includes basic professional services of funeral directors and staff, including the arrangement conference, vehicle and equipment to transfer remains to the funeral home, care of remains with no embalming, receiving and identification room, minimum transfer container, transportation to crematory, the cremation process and the return of cremated remains to the funeral home, use of facilities, staff and equipment for receiving o f friends and memorial service (without body present).
4.Off-Site Memorial Cremation Service: Service and equipment are extended to assist in coordinating an off-site memorial service. Includes services of the staff, including the arrangement conference, vehicle and equipment to transfer remains to the funeral home, care of remains with no embalming, receiving and identification room, transportation to crematory, the cremation process and return of cremated remains to the funeral home. Our staff is included to assist with the various aspects of facilitation the memorial service at an off-site location.
